I have a lot of git repositories, all of which require idiot-checking. Pre-commit hooks make it simple enough to automate such checking, but setting them up requires a bit of work for each repository. Since I prefer to avoid work when possible, I collected my various hook scripts into yet another repository and wrote some wiring to reduce the addition of hook scripts to any other repository to a symlink and some git configuration settings.

The result, git-hook-scripts, is available on Bitbucket and Github.
